Standard RFID tags often fail or have severely reduced read ranges when placed directly on metal due to signal interference. This tag's innovative design, which often incorporates a flexible, paper-thin profile and advanced electromagnetic isolation techniques, mitigates this issue, ensuring reliable performance even on complex, curved, or irregular metallic objects.
This passive, long-range tag operates at the global UHF frequency of 860-960 MHz and complies with the EPC Class 1 Gen 2 and ISO/IEC 18000-6C standards. Its flexible, self-adhesive construction, typically using a durable PET or coated paper surface, allows for easy and secure application onto a variety of metal surfaces including pipes, containers, machinery, and IT assets. The tag’s paper-thin profile is designed for seamless integration, and its printable surface supports visual customization with text, barcodes, QR codes, and logos using standard RFID printers.
